Salt Bar & Bistro, located at 1 Bells Boulevard in Kingscliff, is a family-friendly coastal pub offering a variety of dining and entertainment options. Salt Bar has been the place to go for locals and visitors in the Kingscliff region on the Tweed Coast for more than 20 years. 

We offer live entertainment, including live music, weekly trivia, and special events. The venue also features a sports bar with a wide selection of craft beers and wines from local suppliers and international breweries. 

Sitting at the base of the Mantra On Salt Beach Kingscliff and attached to the retail precinct Salt Bar is the central hub for Brian Ray’s Salt Village community, which is today home to more than 500 homes and three beachfront resorts. 

Today the family-friendly Salt Bar offers a casual, “beachy” environment. There are two bars, a dining room offering pub classics, gaming facilities and a sports bar to settle in and watch all the action. 

There is something for everyone every day at the Salt Bar, and on Sundays kids are doubly welcome. There’s a kid’s club at a big indoor play area offering free activities. 

The place to be on a sunny day is the indoor/outdoor deck with a bucket of fresh prawns in front of you, or the fish and chips with Goldband Snapper and a cold drink while enjoying the sea air.
